1 To complete this report the consultants from Buen Día software and consulting Inc. used reports from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and Foreign Direct Investment, World Bank Group(FDI)

Analysis

We found that Accesstec Incorporated could be marketing to Latin America in 8 countries, where in the initial stage of the study the best probabilities were in Brazil.

On further analysis, following information from United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), we discovered there was a substantial possibility for success in the Other Service sector (Sector classification from FDI 15) and Social Service sector (Sector classification from FDI 18)
The FDI report shows that 100% of total Investment Success Opportunities are centred in four countries: Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Nicaragua with a total of 10 Foreign Direct Investment Opportunities in these countries.

Recommendation

Our recommendation is to focus our initial search in these four countries, with an emphasis on Colombia and Chile. Of the opportunities we found for Accesstec Incorporated, 80% of them were in these two countries.

On November 21, 2008, Canada and the Republic of Colombia signed a free trade agreement (FTA). One of the services that has been benefit of the FTA is the exports to information and communication sectors. Additionally the world bank is assisting Colombia through the Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) that proposes to maintain an active credit program from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) of up to US$4.000 million (about US$1.000 million per year). The following are the strategic elements of the CPS with Colombia 2008-20011: (i) Reduction of poverty and equal opportunities, (ii) peace, (iii) Equitable and sustained growth (iv) Environmental and natural resource management (v) A State at the service of its citizens: efficient and effective government.

On the other hand Chile has been the fastest growing economy in Latin America during the last 15 years, with an average annual per capita growth rate of 4.1 and a consolidated macroeconomic stability on its business environment. Chile has a mix health system conformed by private and public organizations that give a variety of options to Chilean workers and makes a competitive health market. The health sector expenditure and financing in 2006 was an average was US$ 697 per capita.
